Mayville is closing Main Street and setting up the course because the bed races are going right down the middle of town. This popular event draws a great crowd that lines both sides of South Main Street. Come early to find the best spot to watch. Enjoy plentiful food and beverages available at this event.

 

7:30-9:30 PM | Youth Dance | Park Pavilion
Without a Mayville football game tonight the dance is a great place to hang out after the bed races.  Admission is $3.00 and concessions will be available for purchase.



Audubon Classic Run/ Walk | Firemen’s Park Shelter Near Volleyball Court

8:00AM | Race Day REGISTRATION & Packet Pickup | 9:00AM | Race Start for 5K RUN & Walk event
10:00AM | Race Start for 1K Kid’s event (12 & under)

The Audubon Classic Run / Walk starts at the footbridge on South Main St near the pavilion. The 5K course has rolling hills through the city and the countryside. There are mile splits and water stops. The 1K children's run is within the park.

Trophies and medals will be awarded. See registration for details.

Marsh Area Bike Tour | Firemen’s Field

8:00-10:30AM | Registration & Packet pickup |

Enjoy the view along the east side of the Horicon Marsh and surrounding countryside. Dramatic fall colors, geese, ducks, cranes and more can be seen along any of the four 25 to 75 mile marked trails. Hypnotist Paul Knight has been performing stage hypnosis for over 25 years. He has appeared in a huge variety of venues including universities, corporate functions, high schools, comedy clubs and non-profit organizations. He works full-time as a hypnotist and hypnotherapist. He continues to amaze and amuse people with his fun, entertaining hypnosis shows, typically performing over one hundred shows per year. Both sides of Mayville's Historic Main Street are lined with friends and families and the atmosphere is festive. The American Legion color guard, with flags flying, moves into view greeted by the crowd respectfully standing and the start of another Audubon Day Parade is marked. From the marching bands,Did we say we had bands? We have local school bands, big city cultural bands, community bands, crazy bands, and just a little different bands. It doesn't get any better than this. Join us once and you'll be coming back year after year.

Pat McCurdy | Lion's Point

Pat McCurdy is a singer-songwriter with an unusual off-beat sense of humor. A favorite of the college crowd, this national performer is known for his comic lyrics and hilarious Pat McCurdy is a musician who hails from Milwaukee and is finding a small but growing cult following across the country. In addition to playing in Milwaukee, he regularly plays all over Wisconsin, as well as northern Illinois (mainly Chicago) and Minneapolis. Sometimes he takes roadtrips to other parts of the country.
